Gbemileke Adesanmi Olaitan is a seasoned Chemical Engineer with deep expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). He is widely recognised for delivering outstanding results in environmental protection, sustainability, occupational health, and safety management.
Professional Background and Experience
Olaitan began his professional journey at CHI Limited, where he progressed through key roles including Environmentalist, Assistant HSE Manager, and Deputy HSE Manager between 2014 and 2024.
In 2024, he joined Nosak Distilleries Limited as the HSE Manager. In this capacity, he leads the organization’s safety operations, developing and executing robust safety frameworks, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Education and Certifications
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management, both from the University of Lagos.
His unwavering commitment to safety and environmental stewardship is reinforced by notable certifications acquired through specialized training and professional courses.
Olaitan is a Fellow of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria and the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Risk Management body, and he is also a member of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON).
