The distillery applies state-of-the-art equipment and processes in the production of good quality ethanol. There are three plants that produce ethanol with a combined capacity of 500,000 liters per day from the three separate processing plants.
Each plant is equipped with modern distillation columns, which include the extractive, rectifying and demethylizing columns and the associated process ancillaries. It is also equipped with four boilers or steam generators which generate the steam required to heat the distillation columns. Each boiler has a capacity of 15 tones per hour.
Nosak Distilleries Limited has tank farms in Apapa Port adjourning the high sea from where imported crude ethanol is received and transported using Haulage trucks to the storage facilities at the factory in Amuwo-Odofin. At the Amuwo-Odofin factory, there are 17 water storage tanks with a total capacity of 13 million liters.
There are three boreholes with a combined capacity of 150 cubic meters per hour and a 10,000 litre per hour water treatment and softening unit situated within the factory premises for constant production and supply of water for process operation.
